I Love Luxury Brands...but not their price tag.

How I bought these Yves Saint Laurent Logo Espadrilles for a fraction of the cost.

First things first. I've always been into shoes. As a youth I was what is now known as a "sneakerhead". I had all of the latest Air Jordans and whatever cool shoe was out at the time. Then I became an adult and although sneakers will always be near and dear to my heart, I expanded my footwear. I refused to be basic, I had to have the finer things in life... and by finer things I mean high end/luxury. Now if you know me personally, you know I don't pay full price for NOTHING!! Ain't nobody got time for that! I have bills *ugly cry*.

So lets get into how I came to purchasing these YSL Monogrammed Logo Espadrilles for the low.

Why THESE espadrilles?

So boom, I just got off of the Metro (I live in Washington, D.C.) and hopped on the elevator headed to work. Another young professional rode the elevator with me and I saw her espadrilles, because I'm savvy to labels I thought to myself "those are low key, I'd wear those". I was on the hunt for them ever since. Of course I did my research, and all the retail prices were a no go for me, even the sales prices were too high for my comfort:

Nordstom- $550

Saks Fifth Ave.- $525

Neiman Marcus- Sold Out

Harrods-$420

So what did I do while in the early stages of quarantine? I shopped...a lot, and in good bargain fashion I went to... you guessed it... eBay! Found these display YSL Espadrilles via The Luxury Garage Sale store on eBay for $225. They showed very little signs of wear and the lambskin leather is super soft. I'll more than likely do a review on these via my YouTube channel. Stay tuned...
